I wonder to this day how my life would have been different if I didn’t find this dogged eared book in a second hand store one cold winters day, years ago. The day started off badly when I missed my flight for a much anticipated trip.
Somehow I ended up in this run down charity shop on the outskirts of town when returning from the airport. But for some reason I was drawn to a shelf at the back of this dusty, old shop.
Even to this day I can’t remember what grabbed my attention and took me to that back of that crusty shop. But down near my knees a book was sticking out which i grabbed and opened up. There was something in that book that grabbed my attention by the scruff of the neck.
This coffee stained book was about to change my life…
The simple statement that grabbed me by the throat was artfully written..
“To be the most interesting person, be the most interested. To be the most respected, be the most respectful.”
Whether you believe in fate or not, I’m sure you’ve experienced plenty of situations in your life so far which you can’t put your finger on why they happened.
Gosh is that the time?
